This Maker Build 2021 show-home nestled in the picturesque landscape of The Fairways, Kinloch, Taupo, features exclusively Nobilia cabinetry. This project won Master Builder House of the Year Gold award and Regional Category 'Builder's Own Home' award in July 2021.

Designer Kamilla Kristensen worked closely with Maker Build interior designer Kyly Haynes to achieve a beautiful cohesive look for this modern, warm, and inviting family home. As well as the kitchen and scullery, Nobilia cabinetry was used to fit out the bar, laundry, mudroom, bathrooms, study and even the bedside tables.

The brief was to create a modern home that works for a young family and fits into its natural environment. The warm rustic timbers and copper accents invite you in, reflecting the golden-brown tussock covered hills that this home overlooks. This is contrasted against the dramatic black and white anti-fingerprint cabinetry providing the backdrop to Kyly’s stunning interior décor style.

The feature statement piece of the living area is the 4-sided breathtaking Dekton Rem island with the Nobilia floating table height bar seating.

The Nobilia products used were “Structura” door style in Havana Oak, “Touch” door style in Alpine White and “EasyTouch” (with anti-fingerprint coating) in Graphite, benchtop table in Havana Oak.
