Where do I begin with my kitchen project?

Start by thinking about how you use your kitchen — cooking, entertaining, family life. What works well in your current space, and what could be improved? From there, you’re welcome to visit our Cambridge showroom and chat with one of our friendly kitchen designers, or book a design consultation at a time that suits you. We’ll guide you through the next steps and help shape the perfect layout and design for your needs.

Do I need architectural plans or measurements before contacting you?

Not necessarily — though they can be helpful! For an initial consultation, a rough sketch of your layout or a few photos of the space is often enough to get started. If you're nearby, we’re happy to visit your home to take accurate measurements ourselves

How much does a new kitchen typically cost?

Kitchen pricing varies depending on the size of the space, the style of cabinetry, and materials such as benchtops. Visit our 'Price Guide' for examples and typical project ranges.

How do I get an accurate quote?

Once we complete a site measure, we’ll create a detailed design and provide an accurate quote for our cabinetry and benchtops. For engineered stone, granite, or other specialty benchtops, we submit plans to the supplier for an initial estimate — which is subject to confirmation after their own site measure

Are there payment or financing options available?

Yes — once we’ve finalised a quote, it will include a payment schedule that breaks down the total cost into stages from confirmation through to installation. Only an initial deposit is required to start the process. You can still make design changes after paying the deposit, right up until your order is confirmed for production

Do you offer custom designs within specific budgets?

Absolutely. We’ll work with you to tailor a design that suits your style and functionality needs — all within your preferred budget

What happens during a kitchen consultation?

You’ll meet with one of our experienced designers to discuss your space, needs, and design preferences. We’ll walk you through cabinetry options, finishes, appliances, and layout possibilities.

Can I make changes after confirming the initial design?

Definitely. The design process is collaborative, and we encourage feedback and refinements. You can make updates up until you’re ready to place the final order.

What should I bring to my initial consultation?

If you're visiting our showroom, it helps to bring photos of your current space, rough measurements (if available), and any inspiration or ideas. You're welcome to email these through in advance as well

How long does the design process take?

The initial design meeting typically lasts 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the scope. About a week later, we invite you back to the showroom to view your 3D kitchen design — that session usually takes 30–45 minutes. After that, we’ll give you time to review and decide before moving forward

How long does it take from design sign-off to delivery?

Delivery generally takes around 14–18 weeks from the time your kitchen is ordered. We’ll provide a detailed timeline and keep you updated if there are any changes or delays

Do you offer installation services?

Yes — we work with trusted, qualified installers to ensure your kitchen is installed to a high standard. Installation is an additional cost, so please keep this in mind when budgeting

What kind of warranty is included on cabinetry?

Our Nobilia cabinetry comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty. We recommend using professional care products for maintenance. If needed, we can order replacement components or arrange repairs.

What warranty is provided for benchtops?

Nobilia high-pressure laminate benchtops include a 12-month warranty. Each benchtop has specific care instructions — as a general rule, avoid placing hot items directly on the surface and always use cutting boards to prevent scratches

Who do I contact if there’s an issue after installation?

Just get in touch with your designer via phone or email — we’re here to help even after your kitchen is installed and in use
